Leslie & Warren!

Hello and welcome to Boles Family Farms!!

Warren & Leslie grew up on farms back in Missouri and have always had livestock and dogs in their lives. Leslie's Great Great Grandfather started raising the Type B Rat Terrier around 1909. He used the versatile little dog around the barns for varmint control. (He also raised horses and mules for the calvary!) The Teddy Roosevelt Terrier became a dog of Leslie's childhood and life.

Leslie and Warren's love for animals continued on to their 4 children as they entered 4H. The family started raising Crossbred Sheep and Angus Cattle as 4H projects for the kids. Later Matthew and Jacob added Border Collies to the mix. These good working dogs were needed on the farm.

Other animals found around the farm include: chickens, geese, numerous cats, Great Pyrenees, a pony, and more! With Matthew's help, Leslie and Warren have also recently added Registered Black Headed Dorper Sheep to their list of farm animals.

"As the kids have grown, we have branched out to other towns as the kids have begun caring for their own homesteads!

We are mainly located in Southeastern Indiana and East Central Indiana. Outside of our dogs and livestock, we have honey, farm fresh eggs, and in-season produce available. Our oldest son and his wife have dairy goats, honey, eggs and produce available in Southeastern Michigan.

We love to talk to people and hope to hear from you! God bless and have a great day!"
